Introductory Letter From Donnie Swaggart
Dear Friend,
I could write for pages on why Family Christian Academy is the distinctive educational institution that it is. Without taking away from the rest of the brochure, however, I will quickly mention five considerations:
— ACADEMIC STANDARDS. I believe that our academic program and instructional methods are superior to those of the public schools, offering personalized, quality instruction and a rigorous curriculum designed to challenge and develop curious young minds. While I certainly am not critical of the public schools, the simple truth is that many FCA students have consistently tested at one to two years ahead of their public school counterparts.
— FACILITIES. A quick tour of the Academy’s physical facilities makes clear our commitment to provide a comfortable, enriching, learning environment. We know, certainly, that buildings, lighting, rooms, etc., however unexcelled they may be, will not make a school successful. Although, as the students’ “home away from home,” the facilities are important — and I think you will agree that ours are among the finest anywhere.
— SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION. The spiritual values, it goes without saying, are paramount — and that emphasis will never change. Chapel services are specially designed to meet the needs of the students. Education without a spiritual focus is undoubtedly worse than no education at all.
— QUALITY LEADERSHIP. The Lord has truly blessed us with Godly leaders who are professionally equipped and experienced to develop each child to his greatest potential.
— REASONABLE TUITION. Having said all of that, I am nonetheless thrilled to be able to tell you that the tuition has been kept to the absolute minimum, particularly considering the outstanding facilities and stellar faculty. Unlike most other private schools, Family Christian Academy is part of a nonprofit Ministry, and we are dedicated to keeping the amount of the investment required — and it really is an investment — as low as is humanly possible.
So, before you thumb through this information brochure, please allow me to once again thank you for your interest in our efforts. The Lord is blessing Family Christian Academy, and I pray that He continues to use all of us until He comes.
