From me to you by Jimmy Swaggart
Decmber 2022

The first thing I want to do is to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Looking back on 2022, I must thank you for helping to make this past year the best we’ve ever seen. And I think it’s just getting started. I’m believing God for the greatest move of God that the world has ever seen, and I believe the Lord will give it to us.

The greatest work in the world—the most rewarding work and that which is absolutely unsurpassed—is what little bit we can do for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Call Of God
And here is what I want you to realize, and what I believe the Lord has told me to say to you: You are called.

As I am called, and all of the brethren with me, plus their wives and even their children, we are called for the greatest work on the face of the earth—telling others about Jesus. But I want you to understand that the place and position that you occupy is also a call of God. Never treat it less than that. Always understand in your mind and in your spirit that you have a call from God.

And this call is extremely important. In fact, it is the single most important work on the face of the earth. You should thank God every day of your life that He has given you this privilege. And I want you to think of it that way—a privilege that is unexcelled; a privilege that not many in history have ever had. But you have it and, for His own ways, He has seen fit to include you in the greatest work on the face of the earth, and I’m talking about winning souls for Christ. God has put you in a special place—a place that the prophets of old and apostles would have given anything just to be in your shoes. To be able to reach out to the entirety of the world, is a privilege unexcelled, unparalleled. I want you to understand that and to believe that, because it is true, and I want you to thank God that He has given you this honor and this privilege.

I thank Him every day of my life for the opportunity that He’s given me, and I pray that I will be able to stand before Him one day and hear Him say, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.” I want Him to say the same thing about you, and I believe that He will.

Salvation
We’re seeing more people saved than ever before; however, I think it’s a proverbial drop in the bucket compared to what it’s going to be in the very near future. I am asking God for the greatest harvest of souls that the church, or anyone, has ever seen in history. And I believe the Lord is going to give it to us.

About twenty-five years ago, He told me, “I am going to start a move at Family Worship Center that’s going to girdle the globe.” I am quoting the words exactly that the Lord gave to me that morning in prayer. The Lord has related many other things in relationship to this, which I will not divulge at the moment. But I know that what He said is going to come to pass exactly as He has said it: “I am going to start a move at Family Worship Center that’s going to girdle the globe.” Once again, you are a part of that.

Collectively, we pray for you each and every day, and I’m asking, please, that you include us in your prayer time.

Once again let me say to you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I pray that the Lord will give this ministry the best year its ever had in the up and coming twelve months, and I pray that God will bless you—yes you—as never before. And I pray that He will give you the desires of your heart, whatever those might be.

We love you and thank you so much for your help to reach another soul for Christ. Nothing is more important than that.

As well, we pray that this will be the greatest Christmas for you yet. And, if you know the Lord, and I’m certain that most of you do—and hopefully all of you do—then you have the greatest Christmas gift of all.

In the Master’s service, yours, Jimmy Swaggart
