Pray For Us
How I thank the Lord so very, very much for the privilege that He gives us—to bring you the gospel, whether in word or song, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is a privilege, an honor, of which I do not have the vocabulary to properly explain my feelings. How I thank the Lord for this privilege! Then again, and this is what it’s all about, we’re getting more and more emails, letters, phone calls, and testimonials from people telling us how that the programming has blessed them—all the way from salvation to the baptism with the Holy Spirit, to lives being changed.
Visitors
How happy and pleased we are to have you. I’m speaking of the scores of people who are with us each and every Sunday morning; they come from all over the world. How happy we are to have you, and how pleased we are that you included us in your trip, your vacation, etc.
The Answer For Which You Seek
More than all, the people who tell us, “Brother Swaggart, I searched and searched, but when I heard the word, ‘The answer for which you seek is found in the Cross,’ the Holy Spirit witnessed to my heart that this was my answer.” And so it has been, and so it is.
Ladies and gentlemen, that’s what it’s all about. Jesus Christ alone can meet your need. Jesus Christ alone can solve your problem. Jesus Christ alone can make life what it ought to be. That’s why we preach the Cross, because it’s the Cross which is the means by which all of this is done.
Pray For Us Daily
I mean that! Your prayers mean an awful lot to us, simply because this ministry rides on the back of prayer. It’s our faith in Christ and what He has done for us at the Cross and our prayer ministry that makes everything possible. I cannot picture a believer who doesn’t have a prayer life. If that is the case, then you’re missing out on so very, very much.
Every believer should set aside a little time each day, even if it’s only 15 minutes, and thank the Lord for what He has done for you, and seek His guidance and leading as to what He wants you to do. You’ll find things in your life beginning to get better.
Praise
Joined to that, if every moment that you think of it, you’ll start in your subconscious to praise the Lord, you’ll find that fear will leave, depression will leave, and oppression will leave because as David said, “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Ps. 34:1).
What a statement, and that’s what ought to be with every one of you. That’s what I do, and it is such a blessing to me.
Books
Every book that we put out—I would pray that you would avail yourselves of obtaining and reading each and every one. They’re easy to read and will open up the Word of God to you as never before. In other words, you will learn some things about the Bible that you did not previously know, and there is nothing more important than that.
You need to look in our catalog or at our book offers in The Evangelist each month. If you can only get one book a month, then you need to do that until you have every single one. Again, I say, read them.
Thank You
Yes, thank you so very, very much for both your prayerful and financial support. So many of you are faithful each and every month, and we very much appreciate that which you do. Irrespective as to whether it’s little or large, it means an awful lot to the work of God. I pray each day that God will bless those who stand behind this ministry. Remember, you are just as much a part of it as I am. As God has called me, He has called you as well.
