March 2020 In the Wednesday night Bible study of some months back, and some of you will remember this, the Lord led me to deal with the following verse. “And they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful” (Rev. 17:14). This pertains to the second coming and addresses everyone who is with the Lord, who will come back with Him at that time. He said they are “called, chosen, and faithful.” I felt the Holy Spirit would direct me to use this same passage as it refers to believers presently. Called I believe that every single believer who is associated with this ministry (Jimmy Swaggart Ministries) is called of God. That is a heady statement, but I believe it to be true. To be called by God is a momentous thing. In fact, there is nothing greater. I do believe that every single one of you who stands with this ministry is called of God. That is special, to say the least. I want you to understand that, believe that, and hear that, and function accordingly. You are not called just for the purpose of going to heaven, as wonderful as that is. You are called of God to make a difference in this world, and that you are doing. I want you to see that, hear that, and understand that. You are making a difference all over the world. Chosen Not only are you called of God, but you are chosen for a special purpose. Understand that because it is a special thing to be chosen by God. You are chosen for a special purpose. You might ask, “Well, what has God chosen me for?” He has chosen you for at least three things: Pray for us daily. That is very, very important. I actively seek your prayers. In fact, you don’t even have to set aside a lot of time for this. Just as you go about your duties, as the Lord lays it on your heart, say, “Lord, bless Brother Swaggart. Help him to be faithful to the calling that You have given him.” That can go on in any number of ways. We need your prayers for every single thing we do. Every new area where we go on television, with the gospel going to that part of the world, I need your prayers that it will be effective. Tell others about SonLife Broadcasting Network, as many of you already do. Support the work faithfully, as again, many of you do. Faithful Now that He has called you, and He has chosen you for a specific purpose, you must be faithful to this particular situation that is so very, very important. Faithfulness is a great attribute. I believe I can say for each one of you that you are faithful. I believe that. Part of it I am saying by faith, but I believe God will touch your hearts and help you to be faithful to that which is so very, very important. Now, there you have it. You are called, you are chosen, and you are faithful. What a privilege, what an honor, and how special it is to be called by God, chosen by God, and faithful to the Lord. Again, thank you for being a part of the army that is touching this world for Jesus Christ. Nothing is more important than that.
