Jesus said, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” —John 4:35

World Wide Prayer Meeting
Some months ago, the Lord gave me this passage, and I think it will be a blessing to you.

It was approximately three months ago, at about three o’clock in the morning, that the Lord began to speak to my heart about this. He even told what to name it—a worldwide prayer meeting.

The reason we’re having these prayer meetings is for souls everywhere to be saved, lives to be changed, darkness to be dispelled, bondages to broken, the sick to be healed, believers to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, and, as well, for the needs of our nation and the world.

As I said from the pulpit of Family Worship Center a short time ago, we’re having these prayer meetings because we believe God. He’s bigger than the problems in America. He’s bigger than that mess in Washington. He’s bigger than a backslidden church. He’s bigger than demons of hell. He that’s within us is greater than he that’s within the world. He is able to do all things. His might and power knows no limitations. Glory to God!

Pastors
That’s why I’m asking every pastor in the world—yes, in the world—to encourage their parishioners to be a part of this worldwide prayer meeting. Never before in history has it been possible for such to be; there simply wasn’t the technology for it. But now, through satellites, the internet, television, ect., it is possible to make such a request of believers all over the world and for them to respond. And we’re making this call for prayer consistently over SonLife Broadcasting Network, which airs twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, in virtually every country in the world.

The times we are praying are 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. every Saturday. You can pray at those same times, or you can pray whenever you are able to do so, but the important thing is for us, as believers, to come together in faith and believe God to do great and mighty things. Jesus said, “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 18:19).

The question has been asked whether these prayer meetings will be televised. The answer, for now, is no. Prayer is a very personal thing, and it must remain personal. We don’t want anything to hinder believers as they seek the Lord. We do understand that seeing and hearing other believers pray like this can encourage greater involvement, so there may come a time when we revisit airing these meetings. But for now, we are simply encouraging people every chance we get to participate from wherever in the world they are and join us in this extremely important effort.

As I have already stated, this is the first time in history that this has been possible. And please believe me, victory will be ours if we will band together and believe God for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Every church should participate. This is a call for prayer and thereby a call for victory. If there was ever a time that America and the world needs this, it is now. I think you will agree.

Jesus said, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest” (John 4:35).

Campmeeting
There’s no other way to say it—the campmeetings just keep getting better and better, and our Resurrection Campmeeting was no exception! The moving of the Holy Spirit and the power and glory of God seemed to cover the people like a cloud. If you attended, I would love for you to write us and tell us what the Lord did for you in these meetings. Were you saved, healed, set free? We are waiting to hear your testimony!

Our Family Camp 2022 is just around corner, and I would like to personally invite you and your family to attend. The dates are July 20-24, and if you can make time to come, you must do so. Our children are under attack by the enemy as never before, and this camp is designed with them in mind, to provide an atmosphere where they can receive from the Lord, strengthen their faith, and help them connect with other Christians their age. This is a campmeeting the entire family will enjoy, so come and be with us!

In the next issue of The Evangelist, I want to share with you an account of the vision that the Lord gave to me in 1985 concerning the harvest and how that vision applies to us now. You won’t want to miss it!

In the Master’s service, yours, Jimmy Swaggart
